Home Care Service Reviews
Are you considering using Mosaic Home Care Services? Are you wondering about our approach and our professionalism?
We can answer your questions a number of ways:
One, look at the reviews and testimonials we have received from families that have used our services over the years.
Look at the social and community events we have held and reviews from people and organizations from the community.
Thank you so much to the Mosaic team for their unbelievably fast response time. My friends were in a panic, and you saved the day! And the weekend! Thank you Mosaic, you provided Peace of mind for a family, which is priceless. I will continue to always recommend your outstanding services.
Warmest regards,
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed on November 22, 2024, THE HOLIDAY FESTIVE SHOWCASE. The Greek dinner was delicious and with the colourful entertainment of the choir, the Grinch juggler, and the improvised play it certainly prepared us for the holiday season. Lauren and Jane’s organizational skills were amazing. A job well done!!
As well, loved the professional presentation of FAIRY TALES AND FABLES by Lianne Harris. Gained much insight into the history of this topic. I hope you will invite her for more talks. Very enriching. THANK YOU.
At first, I didn’t know what to expect from the Mosaic event. I thought I would simply be there to help with preparations, assist guests, and organize what was needed after. But once the event began, I realized it was much more insightful than I anticipated, and I was able to fully engage with the experience.
I found that the discussions had practical applications for my own life, and I also gained a deeper understanding of the situations faced by the clients I support. The event provided valuable perspectives, particularly for clients who are living alone or facing major decisions and may feel uncertain about their next steps. I now feel equipped to share some of these insights with future clients who might benefit from them.
Overall, it was a pleasure to be part of the Mosaic event, and I look forward to applying what I learned in my work.
I have attended a couple of presentations and events featured by Mosaic and have found them to be very good. Their harvest festival that Mosaic organized with Emma Rooney Horticultural Therapist on Ward’s Island (Sunshine Centre for Seniors) was a very nice event. I’m looking forward to attending their forest bathing event on October 18th, 2024 at one of the parks in North Toronto.
You have a very helpful program and activities arrangement. I like that you send reminder emails about upcoming events.
Hi Lauren!
Yes it was a fantastic day! I’m so glad it all worked out so well! It seems like everyone had a wonderful time! Emma’s presentation was amazing and the singing volunteers and staff did a great job too! I hope everyone who wanted to get a golf cart tour from Mosaic was able to! We will pass on your thanks and kind words to the other staff!
It really is a pleasure to collaborate with you and the other staff from Mosaic and I look forward to more collaborations in the future.
One of the things I value most about Mosaic Home Care Ltd. is their commitment to person-centred care. It’s evident in everything they do … from their 1:1 personal care and support services, to in-person and virtual programs, as well as to their community outreach activities and education. Mosaic Home Care also works in close collaboration with other disciplines and organizations (including my own OT-based company) to ensure that the needs of our mutual clients & families are met, if not exceeded. Jane’s ongoing commitment to teamwork, partnership, and to living the Golden Rule elevates every conversation and interaction on behalf of the clients we are fortunate to serve. Thanks to the entire Mosaic team for everything you do!
This is a warm and welcoming space that offers so many wonderful programs. The staff are very kind and really deliver on their values of being inclusive. Every time I’m there I feel like I’ve really connected to my community and that I belong. I highly recommend checking them out.
I work for one of the largest providers of senior housing in Canada, and over the last few years, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Jane, Lauren, and the entire team at Mosaic. They are an absolute delight to work with, uniquely focusing on community engagement and making genuine, organic connections within the community. Jane and her team have consistently provided exceptional home care services to many of our clients. The feedback has always been overwhelmingly positive, and I can always count on them for reliable and compassionate care. What sets Mosaic apart is their commitment to person-centered care, which is at the core of their business philosophy and drives every decision they make. If you’re seeking a company that will care for your loved one with comprehensive attention to medical, mental, and social well-being, look no further than Mosaic.
As Seniors REALTORS, we often refer clients needing care to Mosaic. Mosaic stands out from other home care agencies with their person-centred and community-integrated approach, focusing on every aspect of their clients’ lives. Mosaic doesn’t just take care of basic needs; they look for opportunities to enhance their clients’ independence, meet their social and emotional needs, and improve their overall well-being.
Co-owner Jane Teasdale is a passionate advocate for her clients, always ensuring they receive the best care. Mosaic’s team is knowledgeable and compassionate, making them a great resource for Toronto and Markham families needing personalized and comprehensive care. We highly recommend Mosaic!
Mosaic has had such wonderful speakers and events!
I have learned so much, thank you.
It is really the best home care I have come across.
Dear Jane, Nathalie, Lauren, Mosaic Home Care Services, Client Services Team, Community Services and Outreach:
You express a warm welcome to me, and I appreciate this. We are community neighbours with good old-fashioned values. You provide precious human connection! May you always receive a steady supply of encouragement and respect.
Marieta was amazing with my father, not only throughout her 3 years with him, but on those last 2 weeks when he was struggling and fighting, she was a tender and soothing presence, always by his side. Please cherish the work that Marieta does, it comes from her heart, she’s one of a kind.
I have been there both when Arlene and Josephine arrive and my mom lights up for them both. She is genuinely so excited and connected with each of them. I also noticed that my mom looks so perfectly groomed and relaxed. She seems even more beautiful than before. I think Arlene pampers her, does her makeup etc. When I took them to the dentist, Arlene held her hand the whole time and the dentist office even noted to me “look how much your mom loves her caregiver, it is so lovely”. And the hygienist told me my mom is so beautiful. She looks really great lately. So I too am very pleased and honestly it takes a huge load off my shoulders knowing she is happy, especially when I am away. I have been able to spend about 4-5 weeks at the cottage with my boys which is so amazing for me. And for them. They won’t be wanting to spend this much time with me for that much longer. So I am very appreciative of this ability. If my mom was not happy, we would not be able to be away this much… I think we are in a very good place right now. I hope it stays this way for a bit. I am grateful. Thank you for finding such great caregivers for my mom.
Dear Mosaic Team, there are so many things I am thankful for that you have done for my Grandmother Sadie and myself over the past month, and I want to take a moment to thank you all. From manning the email requests, arranging a caregiver within 24 hours notice, the detailed log notes that I often read both in Toronto and from home in Ottawa, to calling and chatting with the PSWs when I knew they had their hands full, to the patience of the staff with an elderly lady and her stressed-out family, to the actual hands-on PSW work, and all the extra love that was shown by taking Sadie for walks, giving her extra drinks of coffee and cookies, ordering her ice cream… the list goes on and on. You all played a vital role in Sadie’s recovery from her fall and emotionally upsetting time in her life. Thank you for your hard work. I’m sure I’m not the only client you catered to but I’m also sure I was probably one of the most vocal. I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge you for your assistance. The word “blessing” is seldom used today but it is one that describes what Mosaic is. You make Mosaic. You are a blessing to people in a crisis. Thank you for being our blessing this past month. May you all be blessed in 2016 for what you do.
I don’t know where to begin to thank you and Mosaic for the exceptional, professional and loving care my mother received. My mother died with grace and dignity because of you, and only because of you and your company and the amazing staff, particularly Svetlana and Lalekah. I know my mother was just one of your many clients but I never felt that way in terms of my mother’s care. She was treated as a unique individual, a woman with a life lived and a big job ahead of her which is death. You all have a wonderful innate capacity to love a life as if that person was family. That is how I felt each time I saw the care Mosaic staff give my mother.
Thank you so much for your charitable donation in my mother’s name. She was a giving person and would be so honoured. My mother was a vibrant and beautiful woman with an incredible zest for life. She lived a full and well live life and died gently and peacefully thanks to all of you at Mosaic. I am privileged she was my mother. God bless you all.
I have made the decision that Friday will be the last day with the very wonderful Tseten. I kept trying to convince myself that I needed her for another week but because of the splendid care she has provided I’m certainly able to take care of myself… I cannot express how impressed I have been with the care provided for me by Tseten. She is truly a professional who has hastened my journey to healing.
My elderly father needed regular home care visits for personal care and companionship. We were matched up with a very warm, loving, capable, dynamic PSW who came to see him 3 times per week. She provided him with everything he needed and provided me with great peace of mind. Substitute caregivers when needed on occasion were also excellent. This is an extremely professional organization and I am very lucky to have found them. Top notch. Thank you!
Evelyn is everybody’s dream of what they wish to have in a caregiver. She came to us as a caregiver to my husband, John over two years ago and made every day special for us. She kept his mind alert by asking him questions about topics she knew would interest him. Her gentleness made him trust her with his personal care and he quickly learned how lucky we were to have her with us. Our family referred to her as an angel sent from heaven to make sure John could spend his last years in his home. We are now ready to share our angel with others. I am so blessed and I will never forget her.
It is very unsettling when you realize that you now have difficulty in walking and getting around and doing so many things that you were accustomed on doing yourself. It is reassuring to find that there is an organization that can provide the needed assistance required. I have found that my caregiver provided by Mosaic has been most helpful and considerate in providing the assistance that I require. I would certainly recommend Mosaic to anyone in a similar situation.
I truly wish and hope that all of you really understand how much of a difference your work made in our lives, whether it was the relief from worry and stress because I knew we have kind, caring and competent caregivers to be with them [parents] so I could manage my life while knowing both were happy, safe and comfortable in their own homes. Your caliber of caregivers is superb and I cannot stress enough what a gem you have in Marilyn, Elsa and Karma.
I want to thank everyone who helped make his time at Sunnybrook more enjoyable than it would have been otherwise. In particular, Daisy was such a friend to him and was so caring. It gave me great peace of mind she was looking after him. Earlier, he enjoyed Glen too, calling him a great guy. In fact all the people I met were caring and compassionate. You have a great organization and you should be proud of it.
Thank you for your excellent and expeditious service Mosaic provided to my family last week… My sister-in-law asked me to contact Mosaic, and within an hour an assessment was booked for the next day and a service agreement was emailed. When I requested a change through the after-hours, it was immediately addressed. I was very impressed with the assistance and counsel from Jenesa, Kimberly and Cleonice. I knew Mosaic was a first-class organization but it was definitely proved through this family crisis. Thank you again.
Thank you so much for all your years of faithful service. When Faith was going through a more violent stage of her illness, the staff at Mosaic always took such good care of her and were very patient and understanding. We value all of the work you have done and we recommend you highly to anyone who needs your services.
Just a note of thanks for all the kind and caring service I received from the very first day I called Mosaic, when I had a tired feeling of exhaustion. Being exhausted was not good for me personally or as a caregiver for my mother, who was suffering from old age dementia. Since that phone call, Mosaic made a difference in my life with their immediate respect of my needs in caring for my mother. Martha, you were always pleasant and supportive when you would be called with a crisis, requiring additional help. Martha, you always responded immediately with the help we required. Mosaic is a wonderful organization and I want to give thanks to Mira Lee, who took such good care of my mother when I was not by her side. I was able to feel confident in Mira Lee who bonded well with my mother and helped me a lot with her bright smile and energy. My mother passed away recently and I feel at peace knowing that I was able to provide her with the love and help she needed because of you Martha and also Mira Lee. I wish you both success and I would certainly use Mosaic in the future and recommend your services to others, without hesitation.
I came home from hospital following a major surgery and many complications. I had never needed help before and was concerned as to how I would cope as I am an energetic and very independent woman. The young woman sent to me was simply wonderful. Knowledgeable, kind, caring, and very respectful of my need for space. When we ran into some surgical complications she got me through that. She constantly encouraged my advances. Her respect and individualized care made me feel special. We quickly developed a wonderful rapport. Her goal was to help in any way that she could. And that she did! She is a 10 plus in every way. I miss her already.
I would like to thank Christine for taking such good care of my mom yesterday… taking her to the clinic and the hospital and staying until I was able to get there at the end of the day and keeping her calm. It was such a relief knowing that she was in such good hands. FYI – the doctor looking after her was Dr. John… and he recognized Christine (and the logo on her shirt) from when she had provided some care to his mother and father… and he had nothing but great things to say about his experience with Mosaic… and I couldn’t agree more!
I was very impressed with Shavena. She is kind to my mom and met all her needs. She noticed what additional personal care supplies we needed, and let me know, (although she told us that Steve and I had prepared a very good setup for her, much better than some people). She gave me good advice for what cleaning supplies to buy for her to use in the apartment. She works very hard, and has been cleaning the apartment with these supplies. I already noticed a great improvement in the smell in the apartment. She is observant and notices, on her own, things that need to be done. There is not one lazy bone in her body. I like her and I think she will be wonderful for my parents.
Great first day [in residence]. Our Father seems to be adjusting. Up for lunch and dinner, eating on his own. It is wonderful that Wyndy will be there for the transition. I think he will need that continuity. Hopefully he will fit in and be able to make a go of it on his own after the first couple of weeks but we will see how things progress. I have to say that thanks to Mosaic he is now in the position to get moving again and build a new life for himself post Judith.
Let me just start off by saying THANK YOU Mosaic… Being a part of Mosaic has been such a blessing to me. The customer service team is very helpful and efficient with answering questions and concerns. Seeing how some people lived and needed so much help was, and is, overwhelming. Just giving some clients a shower, putting on their clothes, combing their hair, making sure they took their meals, meds and just talking to them was so appreciated. They wanted me to come again, again and again. Every day is great doing the job I do as a Personal Support Worker. Its not a chore to get out of bed everyday when you love your job. My grandmas and grandpas make it all worth it. It’s almost a sin that I get paid to take care of clients who make me feel as good as I do. I know I make a difference in each and everyone’s life I go see, but I get so much more out of my job then I could ever put into it. I got into this line of work because I need to be needed, so it’s simply perfect for me. The smiles I receive; I could ask for no more. Lastly, Mosaic is a great choice to work and has an excellent in giving care to the clients.
My son is the only family I have in Canada. I knew he is busy for high school study. I never expect he can remember my birthday and I do not know when he could be mature enough to celebrate his father’s birthday. It is a kind of sad, right? This mood surrounds me in recent several days. However, when I checked my mail box this morning, a beautiful birthday card with all colleagues’ signature from Mosaic makes all things different at that moment. I was really moved. I decide to purchase a big birthday cake for myself on my way back home this evening, I will pray for myself, for my family and for Mosaic before I blow the candle. I will teach my son how to take care of other people just like the nice ladies who work for Mosaic, all of them are pretty, nice, generous. I will show the special birthday card to him. I am so moved… and I am so happy being one of employees of Mosaic. Thank you very much for all of you. Actually, I always want to tell you guys I love Mosaic since the first person (Candice) I talked with over the phone, since the first time I walked in the office. All feeling just likes going back home. Everything I can feel from Mosaic is kind, nice, detailed and warm. I love all of you.
The booklet, The Meaning of Me®, is a great tool that helped me discover some of my clients’ hobbies, history, and interests. On my first visit at my client’s home, I found communicating with her to be a bit challenging and intimidating. Then, I found the booklet in the care plan binder. I used it as a tool to establish a good rapport with my clients. For example, my client shared some stories that she used to love sketching as a child and they used to have a massage table at their old house. I therefore incorporate art and massage to the treatment during my visits. My client was happy and enjoyed the art activities (whenever her condition permits) and find the massage helpful in reducing her anxiety. Every time I make my clients happy, I find my job more fulfilling and rewarding. The satisfaction I get is way beyond the monetary benefits this job offers.
Meeting Mr. Tony the first time, I told myself that I need a different approach to this client. He is a very serious person, family oriented and quiet type. I treat every person as an individual so I started establishing a rapport with my client and start to ask different questions. I used the “Meaning of Me®” as my guide. I am able to gain his trust and he told me different stories of his life. He told me how he met his wife, where they lived before moving to Toronto, his famous friends and so many interesting stories of his life. My clients hobbies are reading books, answering word seek puzzle and playing cards. Before, during the younger days of my client, he used to swim, play chess and play cricket. My client told me that he chipped his front teeth when he was young because he dived in a shallow river with his brother. With this information that I gained I thought that I can bring him to the lake for a walk and go to a cricket match if the agency permits. Some of the activities we are doing right now are playing chess, playing cards, and physical exercises. We also do “catch ball” activities where he throws the ball just like a cricket player. I enjoy talking to my client. We laugh together and share jokes to each other.
From an employee’s point of view I could not have chosen a better company as my employer. I feel that Mosaic Home Care is very different from other home care agencies. We are focused on providing the best quality of care for clients, Person Centered Care, caring for the whole person. Also, we work very hard to provide educational/fun programs at both of our community resource centres which are well attended. You can also find a wide variety of resources available at our resource centres that are free and available to the public. We have an amazing team and work well together. I am very thankful to be working at Mosaic and be a part of our wonderful team.
Jane led the walk today and I can tell you it lifted my spirits up so much. The walk was a bit longer, but boy did I enjoy it. Being in the woods and just walking with someone has been so uplifting. I am going to be totally honest with you and I hope I am not repeating myself. This isolation is difficult for me. Mainly because I do not have much support i.e. family, etc. This service that you, your associates and organization is a lifeline for me. Thank you again for your time. I appreciate it and am so grateful for it. Look after yourself and remember, you are helping.
I am so grateful for [Jane’s] time the other day. It was such a pleasure meeting you and Pauline, and learning more about Mosaic, your approach and the wonderful tools that you have developed. It occurred to me (while I was reflecting on our meeting) that Mosaic really is the ‘industry standard’ serving as a beacon for all who seek information and services concerning caregiving. Thank you.
The commitment to community is what first drew me to Mosaic. They bring people of all ages together with engaging community events, most of which are free to attend. They have added so much to my own home community, and I have had the pleasure to attend a number of their community events. I have recommended their services and events to family, neighbours and friends because of their person-centered approach. They care about the person’s emotional and social needs as well as the needs of the family. By understanding more about the person, their values, interests and hobbies, Mosaic offers a genuine caring commitment to their clients. Mosaic’s services were well received from a relative of mine who required overnight care. As well, a neighbour I have known for many years receives care from Mosaic, and I see firsthand the difference it has made in the quality of their lives. Mosaic truly cares about the person, the families and the communities they serve!
I have spent some time reviewing the package from Mosaic that you kindly sent me! I am truly in awe of all the programs you have running at Mosaic and the diversity and variety of different programs, despite the new reality of Zoom and virtual visits! I wanted to join a number of the programs offered :P!! I also really enjoyed the articles “A Wider Perspective on Person Centeredness and Person-Centred Care”. There is an overall awareness of the value of viewing the holistic needs of a client/resident but the impact of social and emotional needs continues to be lacking in many ways. Thanks for sharing that article! I also enjoyed the “Being falls risks aware may require use to be collaborative, multi-dimensional and empathic!” article. The dependency on falls risks assessment and interventions to prevent the falls often and regularly does not take into consideration, “putting one’s self in the other shoes”. A really good, contemplative read! Thanks again, and look forward to continuing to work together!
I was reading your website and I must tell you, it’s the first agency that I have read about that actually talks about not just the medical aspects of services offered, but talks about the compassion of how its importance in the community, and passion and education to make better more information choices so people can enhance their lifestyle through social interaction. This is something that has always been a gift for me to offer. My saying has always been its not just about treating the symptom, but about compassion and overall mental, emotional and physical well being of the client. It’s been one of my dreams to work with children and the elderly. And reading your website I would be honoured to work with your company.
A very belated but very heartfelt “Thanks” to you and your whole team at Mosaic for the wonderful care and compassion we received from everyone during the last year of my parents’ lives. My father’s one and only wish was to die at home and to stay with my mother (69 years together) for as long as possible. She was 94 yrs old with many, many health issues including advanced stages of dementia. She was a real sweetie and he adored her and couldn’t bare to be parted. After having several care companies come in with their constantly changing PSWs/caregivers who were often under a time constraint and/or lacked proper training or attitude … Mosaic stepped in with the most consistent, caring, compassionate and professional staff I have ever met. Dad thought of the 3 regulars – Marilyn, Elsa and Karma as ‘friends’ and they helped fill the void after my mother passed 8 months before him. Everyone (you, the caregivers, the schedulers, the accounts payable person, Bev) since the day I met you, you all treated us with kindness, compassion, patience and respect and listened to our needs-even during the most difficult and trying times I have ever had to experience. You all made their lives comfortable, happy and safe and allowed them to remain together right to the end. You also all helped me to get through the most stressful years of my life. We cannot ever thank you enough but I tell your story to everyone I come across who are caring for elderly parents. I am a forever fan. And I wish all care companies had your work and life ethic. Thank you
WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Thank you for an amazing experience and an opportunity of working together in the community, supporting seniors. Looking forward to many more opportunities of working together in the future. Please stay in touch … that’s the most fun I have ever had on the job.
So sad about Mrs. S. [name omitted for privacy], that was fairly rapid. They were so happy with you folks, thanks, as ever, for your great service.
I just read your article about the Meaning of Me® and wanted to let you know I found it very interesting. It is a whole different way of conceptualizing care for seniors. It’s inspiring!
There has been lot of great feedback regarding Mosaic from ESG [Eglinton St. Georges Church] members accessing your services (coming in through our Pastoral Care team).
A long overdue congratulations on your recent Gold Medal Award for Person Centred Healthcare. What an achievement. You and your team have accomplished so much and I hope you take time to celebrate these achievements. I know that other homecare agencies are watching your progress and influence closely and it is real testament to your vision that you have become a leader in such a short time. I am proud of you!
Thanks for the informative PSW Powerpoint. I will pass it on to my friends and contacts, as I feel Mosaic is showing great leadership in this new normal of corona times. I also love all the website/newsletter info and activities. Congratulations on Mosaic’s 10 years – wow, what a journey you and Nathalie have been on, must be very satisfying to see your impact on the community at large.
A provider with foresight as to what people need in terms of personal, health but also social, emotional, and community connection needs. Its founder, Jane Teasdale, is an internationally recognized leader in person-centred care and genuinely cares for people. She is an active advocate and leader in elder abuse prevention and works tirelessly for the cause.
The support and care you show for your employees is truly commendable. I am proud to say that I am employed with MOSAIC 🙂
I am so impressed and proud of being a family member of Mosaic.
I’m very proud to be part of the Mosaic team!
I know it’s never been easy to even-out the shifts and working hours among caregivers. I know that you guys are always after the betterment of everybody, your clients and us caregivers and the whole mosaic health team. That is why, I am delighted and grateful to belong here.
It has been amazing working in Mosaic. Thank you for all your kindness and generosity in giving me work. You’re the nicest people I know 🙂
Just to let you know that I always tried to render the best service that I can give to our clients as much as possible and I’m so proud and very grateful to be part of the Mosaic team.
I know you get lots of thanks and so on all the time… For me though, personally, I thank you for taking a chance on me. I really love working for Mosaic. 🙂
We were taken care of as an employee of Mosaic and I do believe that is just reflected on us the excellent management of Mosaic directors, managers and staff.
We were very pleased with your services, and I’m recommending your company to CCAC as there are not enough workers to go around!! … Thanks again for a great service. I’ll most certainly use your company again!
I wanted to let you know that our relative will be staying with us indefinitely and we will not need Catherine for the time being. We love Catherine with all our hearts and can say most sincerely that we give her the highest recommendation possible, she is absolutely incomparable. We will miss her terribly and I will definitely contact you should we need someone again in the future. Many, most sincere thanks for the excellent service you have provided to my and my beloved family – I cannot imagine a better organization than yours.
So far, my parents are doing well, but if anything changes and we need to resume more care, I will let you know. We’ve been very happy with Mosaic and all the caregivers, and we’d like to thank everyone who has been involved so far. One of the main reasons my dad is doing well at this point is because of all the care he received over the last week from Mosaic.
Mosaic has provided excellent professional care and customer service while caring for my dad. Wish every company provided that level of Customer Service! If in the future Mosaic expands into Simcoe County please let me know.
I would like to thank you very much for the kindness and support extended to my family during my mother’s final days. We could not have coped with everything without the support of your caring staff and your wonderful PSW’s.
My Mom is doing much better now and is more capable of handling small tasks herself. Carol and I would like to thank you and all your staff for the attentiveness and care Mosaic provided to our mother. I’m sure that without their capable assistance she would not be as far along as she is today.
Just so you know and appreciate what you have in a care giver. Elsie is absolutely Tops We are all really fortunate.
My mom will be moving… As you may already know, my Mom, Sister and I think Carm is the best and trust her fully as a PSW. I continue to HIGHLY RECOMMEND her as part of your organization. Thanks for all of your efforts with our Mother and we have appreciated the professional work Mosaic has done.
I’d like to give you an update on the service we receive for my mom, which has been excellent thus far, and credit to you, your family of staff and of course, Janet. I truly appreciate the extra care and quality you emphasize in your services, and you have my loyalty next to my family as caregivers.
Great service Mosaic provides. My brother and I are very impressed. If my mom was herself, she would agree!
I did want to also make sure that you team knows how much we appreciate Mosaic’s work, professionalism, the empathy of your entire team and your amazing responsiveness. I know we called on you sometimes at the last minute and your team were always pleasant and supportive. We were so reassured when Penny was with my mother and my mother felt so safe with Penny too. Please tell her how much we valued having her alongside my mother – who is the most precious person to us.
I wanted to take this opportunity to formally thank your company and the caregivers that it assigned to our mother during her period of recovery at home after her release from the hospital. We have no doubt that our mother’s recovery was greatly speeded and made significantly less worrisome because of the professionalism and quality of the work of your company and the caregivers.
We cannot begin to thank you, and all of your staff, enough for all of the kindness, patience, and support provided to Mom in particular, as well as Dad and myself, over the past three difficult years. Please convey our special thanks to Maribel, Rose, Mona and Grefel, the ladies who knew Mom the best
Just can’t believe my mom is gone. Again, your team was so wonderful and caring to my mom! Will never forget that and will definitely recommend Mosaic to anyone who needs care.
My sister and I are very grateful for the wonderful care all of you provided for her in the last several months of her life. Thanks for everything.
Let me please thank you all for the care and support you are providing to my mother. Having help every day is quite an adjustment for her but she is very pleased with the care and support that she is receiving. Thank you and please let Liselle know how much we appreciate her!
I want to express our sincere appreciation for the lovely service mom is receiving at the hands of your caregivers. We are very grateful.
I just wanted to take an extra moment to express my appreciation to all the staff who help my Grandma Sadie and write the reports. I live in [omitted for privacy] and my heart aches for my Grandma’s declining mental and physical health and these notes give me such a positive glimpse into her life, and I am so touched by all the little things I read in the reports like, “brushed clients hair”… THANK YOU ALL for ALL you do!
I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for the tremendous support you have provided me and my mother over the past year and a half. Everyone has been absolutely wonderful and have allowed her to be able to stay in her home and maintain her independence. In particular I would like to commend Marieta who has been such a great support and companion to mom.
Thank you for all your help, I’m sure we’ll probably need more in the future. It was amazing how everyone got this pulled together for Joan so quickly. … The 3 people you sent in were wonderful.
I would like to commend Michelle and Agnes for their excellent care for Mom. She is very difficult to care for and resistant, sometimes combative. This is hard for everyone around her. I appreciate the care and compassion that these ladies showed every time. There were other care givers whom I did not meet. Would you please convey my thanks and gratitude for their efforts. It is not an easy job and I appreciate what it takes. Mom’s move happened quickly and I did not get an opportunity to convey this in person.
There is no price to be placed upon the support we must bring to our parents but I am trying to set up distributing investments that will help pay for the services. I cannot thank you and your colleagues who took my call and your organizational focus, enough. I am so impressed with all my levels of interaction and the effectiveness of the discussion I am positively optimistic. We will look fwd to sorting the different details and appreciate your support and dedication.
I’d like to express our family’s appreciation for the services your company has been able to provide to our mother. The nurses who have taken care of her have been extraordinarily kind, competent and friendly and Mom has responded very well to them
Thank you for sending us Evelyn to help us. She is just lovely and has lots of good ideas of how to get John interested in doing different activities. Her sunny disposition is so good for John and she makes him feel relaxed and happy. We look forward to her arrival every afternoon and then we all get out into the sunshine for a couple of hours before dinner. I will be in touch soon to arrange some help when we get back home.
We will not hesitate to contact you again should Shirley ever require additional help. Your company provided exceptional service. We were very impressed.
I wanted to thank you, all of you at Mosaic, very much for all of the care that you provided home with, especially someone being by his side until the end. … you have been nothing but professional and helpful and caring in assisting my father, and I wanted to thank you all for that.
I just want to let you know that the ladies who are caring for my Aunt are fantastic!!!!!! So far I have met Marilyn and Melissa. And I know Joy has been there as well. I am very impressed.
He was extremely well cared for and I feel quite peaceful about it. Dad could not have stayed home as long as he did without your team’s support and wanted to be sure you knew that.
Thank you very much, indeed. You folks have been so very good to us over the past 5-6 years, it literally brings tears to my eyes (as Maribel can confirm), as we would not have been, or be, able to manage at home without your services.
I was 100% satisfied with Mosaic Home Care services. Every one of my caregivers was lovely, caring and helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending your services
My deepest gratitude to you [Martha] and the amazing staff at Mosaic, who were always ready to help out and listen. I’ve recommended Mosaic to my friends … I will miss everyone at Mosaic, their kindness and support.
We are very pleased with your caring and professional services.
I continue to get stronger and am able to do most everything now so I think that I should cancel your services. I have been very happy with everything that you have done and have given your contact information now to several people. A couple may have already contacted you. And, I have THREE friends having various surgeries next week so you may have calls from them when they get home. Thank you again.
After dealing with the LHIN for the past month we have really come to appreciate your company’s attention to details, scheduling and reliability. As Jan’s health continues to decline it is comforting to know we have such a great company to rely on.
We are so impressed with the response of Mosaic to the COVID-19 crisis. You have indeed been ahead of the curve since the beginning. As a family, we are so grateful that our father has the support of your fabulous team. It certainly provides us with increased peace of mind knowing that you care for him with such care and compassion. We all hope that the tremendous impact of this virus on the elderly leads to profound changes in the broader system of long term care residences across the country.
Appreciate all you and the staff are doing during this unprecedented time. My Mum continues to be very pleased with Khazel’s help and company each week.
Once again, I wish to express our thanks to you and to all Mosaic staff for the thoughtfulness and care given to help mom to continue to thrive as independently as possible. Given the situation we have faced in the past several months dealing with the pandemic at hand, we are so grateful that we are healthy and have wonderful people in our lives.
I would like to sincerely thank everyone at Mosaic for the care they have provided to my mother during this difficult time. The care provided by the PSWs has been exceptional and compassionate and the coordination by the office staff has been equally exceptional as well as flexible and responsive regardless of the day or time. Thank you again as Mosaic has become a trusted, reliable, and caring partner in my mother’s care. With sincerest gratitude and warmest regards to the entire Mosaic team.
We are deeply grateful for the quality and care Mom’s helpers show her.
Thank you again for your assistance. … She was fabulous and so helpful. Please convey our sincere thanks and appreciation. We will certainly speak highly of your service and be sure to recommend you should the opportunity arise.
Thanks to all the amazing Mosaic caregivers who have already made a MASSIVE improvement in [dad’s] recovery, and it’s only been less than a week! We are so happy to have him home and receiving this amazing care.
I’m writing to thank you so much for the wonderful care provided to my father over the past year. Every one of the care workers was great with dad and it was very comforting to know someone was with him at all times, especially during the past few pandemic months when we weren’t able to be with him as frequently. can you please pass along my profound gratitude to all the care workers, esp, Julyn and Eden, who touched my father’s life! The girls in the office were terrific too!
I just wanted to say how grateful we are for the amazing service provided by Mosaic. Your kind and competent staff were a joy and your flexibility and willingness to step into creating whatever was required for our father, made it easier for us… Dad was always excited to have the girls come, he was always pleased with the help he received. We hope he can come home again.
Thank you for providing a very valuable service and good care for her over the past two years. It aided her the opportunity to stay in her own home. And in this pandemic, it was a true blessing to her and our entire family.
We wanted to thank you and the wonderful PSWs at Mosaic for your kind services over the past 4 months. Not sure where we would be without them, especially Rosary.
I want to take this opportunity to thank you and the team at Mosaic for helping my family during a very difficult time. Giovanne, your staff and all the PSW’s have made a huge difference in my father’s recovery.
Thank you. Everyone was extremely helpful and comforting to my mother up to and including in her last days.
Your team was perfect. Thank you for all your help.
I have been attending the Nordic Pole walking sessions for the past two summers. It is a great motivator! I get some great exercise and meet some wonderful people. I have attended a number of other information sessions that I have found very helpful when dealing with aging and the changes that come along with that.
Mosaic’s onus in lifting up human conditions serves as a beacon for other similar agencies. I amplify it by word of mouth and at the same time I walk the talk. The programs are targeted to self care for individual health that leads to a healthy global community. Implicitly, Mosaic downscales COVID-19. Let all eyes see and all ears listen. Each one, besides Mosaic, has also an onus to claim. Thank you Mosaic for all that you do for the common good. I personally benefit from your programs for ten years now.
I am thrilled with the Mosaic Online Program Schedule, whether it is an exercise program with Joanne Picot or the many excellent and varied presentations. They certainly brighten my Day as I am sure they do many others. Thank You for your Care & Commitment to helping us at home be involved & entertained.
Excellent programs. The staff are all very good in attending to participants’ requests, particularly Beth Eshete.
I used the PSW services while suffering with chronic back pain. I found the weekly help extremely beneficial. I had 3 different caregivers and all of them were pleasant, understanding and amazing with getting everything organized and helping me with my day. I also went to many events offered at the resource centre. I am in my 30’s and people of all ages who are looking to connect and learn new things, this is a great resource. The staff where very easy to deal with and reliable when changing appointments and accommodating. Best service in the city!
Thank you and your staff at Mosaic for the excellent caregivers that you provided for Isabell who unfortunately passed away last Friday. Both Christine, the Monday to Friday caregiver, and Teodora who was there on weekends, were very competent and extremely caring. They did their very best for Isabell and she and I appreciated it. I hope that you will pass this on to them.
Just a note to say how much I enjoyed Mosaic Collage workshop yesterday – March 9th – Lesley White has a delightful personality, explained the why’s and wherefore’s of a collage and said … let the fun begin … to tear and cut and glue to make our ‘take home’ piece of handiwork … the room was silent for about 20 mins as each of the 8 attendees concentrated on their theme and snipped and glued! Those who did not attend missed and interesting and fun afternoon.
Just returned from our second to last Nordixx pole walking outing and feasted on a delicious group lunch in the great outdoors. Thank you Mosaic Healthcare for your wonderful community outreach. Our diverse group of interesting seniors has forged a bond to stay active and not become socially isolated. Many thanks to you, the Mosaic staff, for your generosity of spirit and your commitment to helping each individual achieve their best.
The Bernard Betel Centre has worked with Jane and the Mosaic team for over 10 years in a variety of settings such as presentations, health fairs, conferences and much more. I can always count on Mosaic to be reliable and provide excellent, up-to-date information for the senior community with a smile.
Jane’s presentations are always well-received and she is willing to answer any questions that come her way. I always look forward to working with Mosaic.
Mosaic has done a wonderful job for us. We were floundering, looking of an answer to our family’s particular crisis – Dad in hospital and Mum needing 24-hour surveillance – and there you were, calmly and efficiently providing the solution. … Thank you all so much for helping us through these difficult days with such grace and expertise.
