The Green Bench Documentary Screening – Red Carpet Event at Mosaic

September 24, 2026
10:00am – 1:00pm
Mosaic Home Care Ltd.
Toronto, ON M5M 2Z9

Mosaic Home Care & Elder Care Transition will be hosting A Red- Carpet Event at Mosaic – The Green Bench.

In collaboration with Schlegel Villages. Ron Schlegel once said, “The greatest untapped resource in Canada, if not the world, is the collective wisdom of our elders.” The Green Bench is an 83-minute documentary built around that idea, following residents in long-term care and retirement communities as they share the stories, insight, and hard-earned wisdom that too often go unheard.

The film is an invitation to sit down, listen, and see older adults differently. It challenges the assumptions we make about aging and shows what happens when generations take the time to really talk to one another.

This screening is for anyone who works with, cares for, or simply wants to understand older adults better: care providers, students, families, community groups, and neighbours alike. Come away with a new appreciation for the people who came before us, and the conversations still waiting to happen.

Join us for the screening The Green Bench. Bring a friend, bring a question, and be ready to listen and share your wisdom.
