Mosaic presenting India: Her 10,000 Year Journey with Lianne Harris

Join Mosaic for a lovely light brunch being served at 10:30 a.m. with lively dance performance and fashion show followed by a 1-hour presentation from Lianne Harris at 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This presentation is all about the beauty and rich history of India!

The colours, the customs, the cacophony of noise, smells, and movement. But it is so much more than even this! Boasting one of the oldest recorded histories on the planet, it is a wonderous stage of glamour, wealth, forgotten kingdoms, strange events, faithful followers and brilliant innovations. India’s culture is so deep and so rich, it has been said: “India is not a country; it is a phenomenon.”

Lianne Harris has presented numerous times and for many years at Mosaic Home Care Services. Lianne has worked as the History, Culture and Social Studies Resource Specialist Consultant with the Toronto Board of Education and the curriculum advisor for Upper Canada College, having taught over 80,000 teachers and students. Appearing on TV and interviewed on the radio many times, she is always happy to have a live audience.
