Social Connection Important for Mosaic Staff Too!
At Mosaic we are all about social connection, community and socialization and this is extremely important for our team to socially connect in-person, one to one and face to face with their teammates outside of the office and work.

On June 19th, the two co-owners of Mosaic Home Care Services & Community Resource Centre Jane Teasdale & Nathalie Anderson organized a team building staff appreciation outing for our team of client services, operations, business and community development teams. This was organized for our in-house team, unfortunately some of our staff were on duty, and aiding our clients and families or on holidays, so they couldn’t attend. We missed our other team members at this event – Karyn, Diane, Alicia and Cleonice.
At Mosaic we are all about social connection, community and socialization and this is extremely important for our team to socially connect in-person, one to one and face to face with their teammates outside of the office and work. Person Centered Care, social interaction is part of our ethos and is implemented in our model of care and everything we do as an organization.
Our In-House Team
Our team works at our main site at Mosaic offices which is in a church setting at Armour Heights Presbyterian church at 105 Wilson Avenue. Some of our client services teamwork from home, social work and nursing team works within our offices, home office and community. Our community and business development side work mostly from our offices and in the community attending hospital events, meetings in the community, health fairs, presenting at conferences or presentations in the community. A big thank you to our in-house team consisting of Jane, Nathalie (Co-owners), Bev, Candace, Martha, Karyn, Diane, Alicia, Jenesa, Jennifer, Lauren, Nikita and Cleonice.

The Evening Begins
We started the evening off with breaking bread and having a meal together in a relaxed manner, a time to chill and relax together over wine and food of course. Chatting about our families, grandchildren, trips, outings, different types of restaurants. And of course, good laughs together which is important as it helps with stress release!
The night continued as we were driven all together in a large vehicle to our next destination at Cirque du Soleil for a night of music, dance, colour, stage and aerial acrobatics which was truly amazing to see the agility of many of these performers. As Nathalie and I looked over at our amazing team sitting there and truly mesmerized by the performance we knew they were enjoying the evening.
Gratitude
Nathalie and I are so fortunate to have such an amazing group of expertise, person centered, fun, and compassionate staff at Mosaic Home Care. Each person brings a different perspective to their role and expertise.
Until our next fun staff outing together…
