New home care company goes beyond care with Mosaic Community Resource Centre
Mosaic makes a difference by providing both home care services and a unique community resource centre.
Mosaic Home Care and Community Services, a new Canadian owned and privately run company founded by veteran care providers Jane Teasdale, Nathalie Anderson and Mercedes Santos, has launched with a unique mission. Beyond providing compassionate home care services, Mosaic offers a unique community resource centre where people of all ages and needs can visit a comprehensive one-stop centre to learn about important community services and more.
Mosaic’s team of professional caregivers provides non-medical services in the Greater Toronto Area, including York Region, to enhance the lives of those in need of care, to allow them to remain independent and integrated with their community and friends, whether in their own home, retirement home or long term care facility. They can give relief to family caregivers and can provide for those needing short term, overnight, live-in and 24 hour care. They offer services for people of all ages and needs including palliative care patients, those with Alzheimer’s and dementia, Parkinson’s, Veterans, new and expectant mothers and support for people with disabilities.
“What truly makes us different is our Community Resource Centre explains Jane Teasdale, Principal. “Through our many years involved in home care, and the many contacts we have established, we have created a network of outstanding resources, which families can now have at their fingertips.”
The Mosaic Community Resource Centre provides information on homecare solutions, retirement homes, day programs, elder abuse help, downsizing, community programs, community agency information, government programs and more. “Mosaic also believes that lifestyle is an important aspect to the health and well being of our clients,” says Nathalie Anderson, Principal. “It is why we have created the Mosaic Club, where our clients can enjoy activities and interests in the company of others in a warm and welcoming environment. They will also enjoy a wide variety of talks and presentations. It’s one more way we make a genuine difference in the lives of those we serve.”
Mosaic understands that having someone come into their home is a big step. “It is why, at the heart of our approach, we ensure that our caregivers are not only as passionate about the care of our clients as we are, but they are also a part of a caring business,” explains Mercedes Santos, Principal. “Our caring people bring a world of experience, joy and compassion to the lives of those we serve. It is a difference they will appreciate.”
The principals and caregivers of Mosaic have a passion to serve their clients and families with a new approach to care that will make a difference in their clients’ lives and in their communities.
Mosaic is conveniently located in the Shops on Steeles and 404 and is open Monday to Friday – 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays – 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
